This time, there were two shifts for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test—Post-Graduation (NEET PG). The timings for the First shift was from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, while second shift hours were from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The NBEMS stated that this was done to enhance the logistics, despite the fact that students were unhappy with the choice. There will be improved oversight, planning, and coordination between various states and test locations if the exam is administered in two shifts.

NBEMS had to implement a normalization technique in order to evaluate every student "fairly" because the exam was administered in two shifts. This, however, has angered students who claim that the normalisation process has been unfair to many and has unknowingly favoured a selected few. "While I do not accuse NBE of doing it on purpose, certain students have benefited from this normalization process more than others, just like in any other. All we are asking is that  that NBE should release the answer key and the formula they adopted for this normalised score. Perhaps specialists and students might assist them in identifying any inconsistency or human error," an aspirant said.

NBE has acknowledged that, according to the organization's long-standing policy, there is no intention to make the answer key public. "As you can see, no institute that conducts medical entrance exams releases answer keys. Since I am talking solely about the exams pertaining to medicine, I am not including NTA's NEET UG in this. We shall continue to do so and withhold the solution key even now", an official source from NBE stated.
