The Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's home was the scene of a demonstration today by the NSUI in reaction to the current controversy surrounding the NEET UG and NET examination. Varun Choudhary, National President of NSUI, and a number of other student leaders demonstrated their opposition to the purported NEET and NET exam scam by holding up counterfeit Rs 500 notes.

To emphasise their charges, the leaders threw the fictitious money into the air in a theatrical manner. The police arrested the demonstration organisers and workers after it was over.

The national president of NSUI declared during his demonstration, "It is evident from Dharmendra Pradhan's actions that he has taken money in this scandal."

He went on to say, "We are prepared to offer this money openly, but the Education Minister must immediately ban the National Testing Agency (NTA) and take decisive action against the officials involved."

To rebuild public and student trust, the NSUI encouraged the Education Ministry to look into these claims right away, outlaw the NTA, and hold those in charge accountable.
