Maharashtra class 10th, 12th supplementary exam date sheet 2024 released; exams begin July 16

The Maharashtra SSC and HSC supplementary exams 2024 are scheduled to be conducted in two shifts. The SSC compartment exams will conclude on July 30, while the HSC exams will wrap up on August 8.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has announced the dates for the 2024 supplementary exams for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC). Students can access the timetable on the official websites — mahahsscboard.in/mr, mahresult.nic.in, or hscresult.mkcl.org.

According to the Maharashtra SSC and HSC supplementary date sheet 2024, the exams will start on July 16. The exams for both Class 10 and Class 12 will be conducted in two shifts: the first session from 11 am to 2 pm, and the second session from 3 pm to 6 pm. The SSC supplementary exams will conclude on July 30, while the HSC supplementary exams will end on August 8.

This year, the overall pass percentage for Class 10 stood at 95.81 percent, a 1.98 percent increase from the previous year. Konkan emerged as the top-performing region with a pass percentage of 99.01 percent. Out of the 15,60,154 students who registered for the SSC exam, 15,49,326 appeared, and 14,84,431 passed. The pass percentage for girls was 97.21 percent, while for boys it was 94.56 percent.

In the Maharashtra Class 10 results for 2024, 187 students achieved a perfect score of 100 percent. Division-wise, Latur had the highest number with 123 students, followed by Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar with 32, Pune with 10, Mumbai with 8, Amravati with 7, and both Kolhapur and Konkan with 3 each. Nagpur had 1 student, and Nashik had none.

The pass percentage for fresh HSC candidates saw a slight increase, reaching 93.37 percent. The overall pass percentage, including freshers, repeaters, and private candidates, was 91.87 percent.

Among the streams, the science stream had the highest pass percentage at 97.82 percent. The pass percentages for the arts, commerce, vocational, and ITI streams were 85.88 percent, 92.18 percent, 87.75 percent, and 87.69 percent, respectively. In the vocational stream, out of the 35,849 registered students, 35,106 appeared, and 30,808 passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 87.75 percent.
