This examination took place on June 22 and 23,2024 across the state and at various centres. The exam was held in two shifts on both the days with first shift from 10 am to 12:30 pm, followed by the second shift from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.
The KTET examination has eligibility criteria for every category, general candidates must score 60 percent for categories I and II and need 55 percent for category III and IV to qualify. For SC/ST/PH/OBC candidates need 55 percent for category I and II, 50 percent for III and IV. Once qualified, KTET scores remain valid for lifetime. To pass the KTET exam candidates are required to obtain minimum qualifying marks in each subject within their respective categories, by scoring a minimum of 40 percent in each subject to meet the eligibility criteria.
