KEA to restart seat allotment application process after NEET 2024 results

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has declared its decision to proceed with the seat application process following the release of the NEET 2024 results.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has declared its decision to proceed with the seat application process following the release of the NEET 2024 results. The candidates are required to complete the seat allotment application and submit the required payments to the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). In a statement the Authority said that many students haven’t completed the application despite having enough time to do so.

Now the KEA has chosen to reopen the application procedure once the NEET UG 2024 results are announced in response to pleas from parents and students. Following the announcement, applicants to Karnataka's medical, dentistry, ayurvedic, unani, would have three days to submit an online application.

Therefore, the candidates must complete the CET 2024 application and also pay the application fees, which cover courses in homeopathy, unani and medicine, according to the announcement.

 

Steps to register for seat allocation

Step 1: Visit the official website: kea.kar.kar.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “UGNEET 2024 online application” link.

Step 3: Fill the required details and upload the documents.

Step 4: Pay the registration fee and submit the form.

Each candidate is required to fill the application form as filling of multiple forms can lead to the rejection of the candidate. The Candidates are also required to keep visiting the official website- kea.kar.kar.in for all the latest updates.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) on May 5 from 2 pm to 5:20 pm in 557 cities across the country and 14 cities abroad. The answer key will be released at the official website exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.
