JoSAA 2024 seat matrix is now available
In order to make admissions easier for aspirants, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the seat matrix for the 2024 counselling. There are 17,740 seats available across 23 IITs.
Online applications for the JoSAA counselling 2024 procedure were opened on Monday by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). JoSAA will distribute the seats in five rounds this year. The number of IIT seats has increased significantly, with 17,740 seats up for grabs through the counselling process, according to the seat matrix that was made public on June 12, 2024. Applicants can examine and submit their applications for the JoSAA counselling as soon as possible.
The official data indicates that 355 more IIT seats would be available in 2024. The distribution of the seat increases is as follows: There are 84 seats at IIT Patna, 10 in IIT Guwahati, 40 in IIT Bhilai, 10 in IIT Tirupati, 75 in IIT Dharwad, 20 in IIT Bhubaneswar, 12 in IIT Bombay, 30 in IIT Kharagpur, 50 in IIT Jodhpur, 30 in IIT Gandhinagar.
