The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT) will close the answer key objection period for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2024 today. Candidates who appeared for papers 1 and 2 can raise their objections to the answer key and submit them on the official website by 5 pm today.

Students can refer to their response sheet to raise objections, and when submitting the objections, candidates are required to upload the documents and pay a fee based on the number of answers to key objections that have been raised.

Candidates who pass the exams will be eligible to participate in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) to secure their seats in the colleges. According to the official schedule released, the first counseling session for JEE Advanced will begin on June 10, 2024. 


JEE Advanced 2024: How to Raise an Objection

- Visit the JEE Advanced Official website at jee.adv.ac.in.
- Click on the ‘Important Announcement’ and select the JEE Advanced answer key.
- Select the JEE Advanced Paper 1 or 2 answer key.
- Go to the candidate log-in page and enter your registration number, phone number, and date of birth (DOB).
- Fill in all the necessary information and click on the submit button.
- The screen will display the JEE Advanced answer key.
- To raise an objection, students must select the question for which they want to raise an objection.
- For every objection to a question, candidates are supposed to submit Rs 200.
- Download and save the answer key for future use.
