The course will run for two years, with four semesters. The annual tuition for the programme is Rs 45,275. The programme's admission date is November 3. Applicants must complete an additional form found on the JMI website in order to apply. Admission to this MTech program will depend on performance on the JMI entrance exam.

Candidates must have a degree in environmental studies or science, an MSc in environmental science, a BTech, or a BE in planning from any university or institution recognized by the AICTE or UGC, with at least 55% of the possible points or an equivalent grade in the qualifying exam, in order to be eligible for this course.

It is intended to give professionals all the information and abilities they need to evaluate, control, and reduce health risks, environmental pollutants, and occupational safety hazards in industrial settings. According to Jamia Millia Islamia's press release, the curriculum places a strong emphasis on fostering leadership in the industry and equipping graduates to support sustainable industrial practices.
