The Indian Space research organization’s (ISRO) Human Space Flight Centre (HSFC) situated in Bengaluru has called for applications for various temporary positions. The interested candidates can apply on the official website. The last date for submission is October 9,2024. The procedure is hosted on the ISRO web portal, Current Opportunities at ISO.
The HSFC was created as part of ISRO’s ambitious Indian Human Spaceflight Programme. It is seeking candidates for several roles. Following is a brief of the positions available.
a) Aviation Medicine
For the is role MD in Aviation Medicine and an MBBS degree from recognised institution is must. The candidate must have experience of minimum 2 years.
b)Medical Officer
The requirement is a MBBS degree with minimum of two years of experience.
c) Structural Design
For this position, the candidate must have a masters in Structural or civil engineering along with a bachelors in technology in any discipline.
d) Instrumental engineering
For being eligible for this position, the candidate must have a master’s of technology in Instrumental engineering with B. Tech degree in any discipline.
e) Safety engineering
A master’s degree in Safety or reliability engineering along with a B. Tech degree
f) Industrial production management/ engineering
A masters in industrial production, management or engineering, and a BE/BTech in any discipline.
Majorly a degree in BE/BTech with master’s on respective fields is the criteria for the positions required. The applicants for the medical positions should have at least second-class degree in MBBS. Candidates have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs250 for post codes 1-14. In the beginning the candidate must pay Rs 750 as a processing fee however refunds will be provided to those who appear for the written test or interview.
For Women, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates, the application fee and processing fee is exempted. They will receive a full refund of the processing fee. Other candidates will receive a partial refund of Rs 500 after the deduction of the application fee.
