Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the French Space Agency, CNES are all set to collaborate. The two organisations will conduct an International Science workshop. It will focus on High-resolution Thermal Earth Observation. The event is scheduled to take place from November 19,2024 to November 21,2024. It will be held in Ahmedabad, to offer a platform for Earth Observation researchers, professionals and students to engage and learn about utilizing data from the space missions, it shall also include the TRISHNA mission.

The TRISHNA(Thermal Infrared Imaging Satellite for High Resolution Natural Resource Assessment) is a collaborative effort between the two organisations, ISRO and CNES. It has been designed to enhance Earth Observation through thermal imaging technology.

The Interested candidates can submit thir abstracts by September 30,2024, which is the deadline. The workshop will offer a valuable opportunity for people who are enthusiastic about the field of Earth Observation to explore advancements, discuss research and collaborate on global challenges related to environmental monitoring.

ISRO is India's premier space agency. ISRO has made significant strides in space exploration. It has successfully launched numerous satellites, including communication, remote sensing, and navigation satellites.
