Indian Railway will start accepting applications on July 30 for 7,951 open positions

A notification for the hiring of junior engineers and other technical vacancies throughout Indian Railways' various zones has been released by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). 7,951 positions, including Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant, Chemical Supervisor (Research), and Metallurgical Supervisor (Research), are the targets of the recruiting drive.

RRB Hiring 2024: When Should I Apply?

The deadline to submit an online application is August 29; the application period opens on July 30. Candidates who are interested must apply using the active link on the RRB zone page that corresponds to their location.

Qualification Standards

- Age requirement: Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 36.

- A degree or diploma in civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics, or telecommunication engineering is required of applicants.

Application procedure

Step 1: Go to the zone's official RRB webpage.

Step 2: When the link for JE recruitment is active, click on it.

Step 3: Enter your birthdate and application number while registering.

Step 4: Complete the application.

Step 5: Cover the application costs.

Step 6: For later use, save and store the acknowledgement form.

RRB Hiring: Application Cost

- For all candidates, there is an application fee of Rs 500.

- Fees for female applicants, economically disadvantaged groups, SC, and ST are Rs 250.

- Any changes to the application form must be made for a charge of Rs 250.

There are three steps in the hiring process:

- Phase 1: Assessment via a computer.

- Phase 2: Assessment by computer.
