The India Post has announced the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) third merit list 2024 on its official website other than Maharashtra, Jharkhand and 48 other divisions of the organisation. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the merit list on the official website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The merit list will be determined by the marks or grades from Class 10 examinations, aggregated to a percentage accurate to four decimal places.

India Post stated that the shortlisted candidates have to report for their verification with their original as well as two self-attested copies of all the necessary documents before November 4, 2024.
Educational Requirements: Applicants must have passed the Class 10 (matriculation) of a recognized board
Age Qualification: Age limit may vary according to the category (GDS, BPM, ABPM) and will be specified in the official notification
Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen
Residential Requirement: Priority will be given to candidates residing in areas with available vacancies
This recruitment aims to fill 44,228 vacancies across various postal circles. The salary will range accordingly from Rs 12,000 to Rs 16,000 per month, depending upon respective role and location. For the posts like GDS, BPM and APBM it includes additional benefits such as medical insurance allowance in accordance with government regulations.
Candidates who get selected from the merit list shall be required to undergo a physical verification process and the dates for this process will be declared soon via SMS to the registered mobile number.
