IIT Mandi Scholarships

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi every year offers scholarships to students who meet eligibility criteria. It can be in various forms, such as college fee concessions, direct benefits transfers, or other forms.

The Indian Institution of Technologies are always in demand for students. Getting admission in IIT Mandi is not an easy task, cost and affordability can be challenging.
Keeping in mind the concerns, the IIT Mandi offers various scholarships to students to fulfil their dreams , considering the students from SC/ST and EWS categories.

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship
The eligibility criteria for the students for the merit-cum-means scholarship is Rs 1000 per month and also the recipients would be exempted from paying the tuition fee. The award however is for one year only and will be given from the date of registration in Odd Semester.

The students whose annual family income is up to Rs 4.50 lakhs are eligible, other criteria include, 6.00 CGPA or more and the credits earned should not be less than 18 times the number.

National Fellowship and Scholarship For Higher Education of Scheduled Tribe Students:

This scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious students belonging to Scheduled tribe category. So the students can pursue higher education after they complete the post-graduate degree. The eligibility criteria of this scholarship is , the student must pursue their higher education from an institution which has been covered under the list and student must have secured at least 55 percent in the post graduate degree.
