The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is set to host a ‘demo day’ on June 15 and 16, offering JEE 2024 aspirants a chance to visit the campus and get a taste of life at an IIT. Candidates can register for this event at askiitm.com/demo.
For those unable to travel to IIT Madras, an online session will be held on June 17, where Professor V Kamakoti, the institute’s director, along with other faculty and alumni, will address queries about both academic and non-academic life on campus.
Additionally, aspirants in Bengaluru and Hyderabad can attend satellite demo day events. These events are scheduled for June 11 at the SD Auditorium, IISc, in Bengaluru, and June 12 at T-Hub in Hyderabad, featuring senior faculty, current students, and alumni.
An official statement from IIT Madras highlighted the opportunity for attendees to interact with students, faculty, and alumni, providing first-hand, up-to-date information. Students can also inquire about new developments, such as the BTech program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics offered by the Wadhwani School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.
The IIT Madras Demo Day is part of the Ask IIT M initiative, created and managed by alumni and students. Through the askiitm.com website, aspirants can ask questions about courses, faculty, campus life, and placements, with responses provided by alumni and student volunteers.
