IIT JAM 2025 exam schedule announced; check the key dates here

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has announced the schedule for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2025. Registration for IIT JAM 2025 will open on September 3 and close on October 11. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on the official website, jam2025.iitd.ac.in.

The IIT JAM 2025 will take place on February 2, 2025, in a computer-based test (CBT) format. The exam will cover seven subjects: Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematics, and Physics, and will be held in approximately 100 cities across India.

Candidates of all nationalities are eligible to apply, with no age restrictions, provided they complete their qualifying degrees by 2025.

How to Apply for IIT JAM 2025:
Candidates can apply through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS) by clicking the "Candidate Portal" button on the website https://jam2025.iitd.ac.in. The application window runs from September 3, 2024, to October 11, 2024.

Application Steps:

1. Register on JOAPS:
   - Provide your name, a valid email address, an active mobile number, and set a password.
   - Upon successful registration, your enrollment ID and OTP will be sent to the provided email address and mobile number.

2. Complete the Application:
   - Apply for the exam online.
   - Upload your photograph, signature, and required documents, including certificates (for OBC-NCL / EWS / SC / ST / PwD) and proof of Date of Birth.

3. Payment of Application Fee:
   - Pay the application fee through any electronic payment mode.

4. Check Application Status:
   - Monitor the status of your application, including stages like received, under scrutiny, accepted, defect status, status after rectification, and admit card readiness.
