IIT Guwahati secures 344th position in QS World University Rankings 2025

In the QS World University Rankings 2025, IIT Guwahati has risen 20 spots to come at the 344th rank. It has a very strong academic achievement and is particularly important, it ranked 42nd globally as per the research members in the faculty.

In the QS World University Rankings 2025, IIT Guwahati has risen 20 spots to come at the 344th rank. It has a very strong academic achievement and  is particularly important, it ranked 42nd globally as per the research members in the faculty.

The QS World University Rankings 2025 shows that the Indian Institute of Technology, or IIT Guwahati, has improved with time by ranking on the 344th position all over the world.  The institute has made an interesting 20-place jump in this year's rankings with an overall score of 32.9.

The performance of the Institute impressed the Institute's director, Professor Devendra Jalihal of IIT Guwahati. This year-over-year increase in IIT Guwahati's worldwide ranking is a result of our staff, students, and faculty members' constant dedication and effort.

The main thing that keeps us moving forward is our dedication to research, teaching, and innovation., they will be still committed to raising their college profile internationally and advancing science and technology.

To improve the World Ranking further, there will be many obstacles that the internationalization of Indian universities has to overcome and must be tackled as soon as possible.

With the release of the QS World University Rankings 2025, IIT Guwahati has risen 257 positions in just 5 years, from the 601-650 range to the 344th spot in 2024.
