IIT Delhi partners with FADA academy to offer a certificate program in Automotive Operation and Future Technologies

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) associates with Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) academy to launch an advanced certificate course in Automotive Operation and Future Technologies.This 7-day program will be conducted at IIT Delhi campus which aims to transform the automotive industry by empowering dealer principals and leadership teams at auto dealerships with cutting-edge knowledge and skills, according to the official release.

This customised program caters to address the needs of the automotive dealership’s community, aiming on latest advancements and hands-on experience in automotive operations and future technologies. Participants will enjoy a unique learning experience from IIT professors, network with industry peers and explore the future landscape of the automotive industry.

The program’s curriculum will include automotive operations and future technologies, team dynamics, data dynamics, change management, IT and AI, battery technology, hybrid and alternative energy vehicles, automotive health monitoring and sustainability. Additionally, the program encompasses a broad range of topics including connected and autonomous vehicles, inventory and demand management, financial and marketing management, operations management and visits to laboratories.

According to Dr Deepak Kumar, professor at IIT Delhi’s centre for Automotive Research and Tribology “This programs curriculum strikes perfect balance between both management and technical topics that are critical for the future of the automotive industry. Participants will benefit from leading experts and hands-on experience in state of-the-art laboratories at IIT Delhi’s state of the art laboratories, providing a holistic learning experience.”
