Applicants with a PhD and six years of experience, at least three of which were spent as Assistant Professors, Grade I, at IIT, NIT, or a comparable institution, are eligible for this position. Candidates must to have experience instructing both basic and advanced courses.
A minimum of ten refereed conference or journal articles, four of which must be published in reputable journals, must be on the candidate's resume. In the previous three years, two of these ought to have been released. A minimum of one sponsored R&D or consulting project as a PI or two sponsored R&D or consulting projects as a co-PI must have been completed by the candidate.
Applicants with a doctorate who have ten years of experience, four of which must be spent as an associate professor or a comparable role. Candidates must to have experience instructing both basic and advanced courses.
A minimum of twenty refereed conference or journal papers must be on file for the candidate, at least eight of which must be published in reputable journals. At least three of them ought to have been released in the previous four years. It is required of candidates to have either mentored one PhD student on their own or two PhD students in collaboration with other faculty members or researchers. Candidates must have served as PIs on at least one supported R&D or consultancy project. As a principal investigator, one more supported research and development project or two more sponsored research and development projects as a co-PI.
