IIT Delhi Introduces Certificate Programme in Design Thinking and Generative AI

A certificate program in Design Thinking and Innovation was introduced yesterday by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. The goal of this five-month online program, which begins on December 20, is to give professionals the skills they need to remain competitive in the quickly changing digital economy.

Senior executives, managers, product developers, entrepreneurs, and business consultants are the target audience for the Design Thinking and Innovation program. Interested students will have to pay Rs 1,10,000 + GST and they will receive a certificate from IIT Delhi upon successful completion of the programme.

According to the news release, the program's main objectives are ideation, testing, prototyping, generative AI, Human-Centred Design (HCD), iterative design, sustainability, agile design, and data-driven innovation.

Important Elements:
-  Assignments, tests, and video lectures
- One Adventure Capstone Project. In order to solve challenging real-world problems, participants will collaborate on a final capstone project that enables them to apply the complete range of design thinking abilities.
- Masterclasses on generative AI: Concentrated seminars on product creation, ethical AI use, and AI-driven innovation.-  Assignments, tests, and video lectures.

To further network and engage with academics directly, participants might choose to attend two on-campus sessions at IIT Delhi. The program provides the direction of a seasoned leader in the field of sustainable innovation, under the direction of Professor Vijayaraghavan M. Chariar, an award-winning specialist in Design for Sustainability, Frugal Innovation, and Traditional Knowledge Systems. According to the press release, Prof. Chariar will give attendees insights into combining design thinking with cutting-edge AI tools to help them create meaningful and sustainable innovation.
