The Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) has opened the correction window for the candidates participating in Common Admission Test (CAT). The application form will allow candidates to modify their signature, photo, and test city options if necessary, till today, September 30 through its official website at iimcat.ac.in.

How to edit the CAT application


Step 1: Visit the official website at iimcat.ac.in
Step 2: Enter login credentials
Step 3: Open the submitted application form and select the option for editing the form
Step 4: Make the changes needed
Step 5: Review the application and submit the form
A bachelor's degree with at least 50 percent of the required points or a comparable CGPA is required of candidates. The minimal criteria are 45 percent for candidates who fall under the categories of Persons with Disability (PwD), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Scheduled Caste (SC). The application fee for all SC, ST and PwD category, student will have to pay Rs 1,250 and for the remaining students the fee is Rs 2,500. 

The CAT 2024 is scheduled to be a computer-based exam that takes place over three sessions on November 24. Test sites will be located in over 170 cities for the exam. IIM Calcutta will distribute admission cards from November 5 to November 24. It is anticipated that the CAT 2024 results will be made public around the second week of January 2025.

The CAT 2024 exam will comprise three sections, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA/Quants). The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and the paper is divided into two sections, with 40 minutes allowed for each section. Once a section is started, candidates will not be permitted to switch to another section until the allotted time has expired.

Candidates are requested to register with an active email id and contact number, to receive updates and important information by the concerned authorities.
