IGNOU Students Can Now Compete for the 2024 Best Innovation Award

Applications will only be accepted through mail at ncide@ignou.ac.in; handwritten or scanned copies, as well as hard copies, will not be accepted by the university.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced the applications for the ‘Best Innovation Award 2024’. Applicants for the prize nomination must be enrolled students at the university at the time of the nomination. The entries must be submitted by October 15th.

The National Centre for Innovation in Distance Education (NCIDE) initiated the IGNOU annual award in 2018; it is granted to the top three student innovators. You can get the application form and the guidelines for the award from the IGNOU website, ignou.ac.in, or visit sites.google.com/ignou.ac.in/navrieti/sia-2024.

Trunks, diplomas, and cash rewards totaling Rs 10,000, Rs 7,000, and Rs 5,000 for the top three entries will be given to the winning students. As stated in the news release, these innovators who made the short list will receive guidance and assistance, as well as a variety of training options, to help them improve their ideas and advance them.

Applications will only be accepted through mail at ncide@ignou.ac.in; handwritten or scanned copies, as well as hard copies, will not be accepted by the university. The students who made the short list must virtually present their innovation, including how it was developed, how it functions, etc.

The IGNOU website and each winner will get a personalized notification following the results announcement. Please read the official website; there will be no further individual correspondence with the other applicants. Health care and biomedical devices, agriculture and rural development, food processing and packaging, smart transportation and traffic management, renewable and inexpensive energy and alternative fuels are just a few of the subjects where innovations are welcomed.

Students who would like to learn more about the whole list of themes must visit the official website. Additionally, these individuals will have the opportunity to compete in events hosted by the Ministry and other organizations.
