Across several institutions, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) introduced 13 new programs, including 4 MBA degrees in novel fields today.
The following are among the new programs offered by IGNOU:
- an MBA in construction management;
- an MBA in logistics and supply chain management;
- an MBA in agribusiness management;
- an MBA in healthcare and hospital management;
- a postgraduate diploma in rehabilitation psychology;
- a postgraduate diploma in disaster risk reduction and management;
- an MA in Geeta Studies; a certificate program in early childhood special education that allows for inclusion despite visual, hearing, or intellectual disabilities;
- an MSc in home science with a focus on community development and extension management.
A few days ago, the institute announced that it was now offering MBA programs in healthcare and hospital management. The course is open to graduates with at least 50% (45% for candidates from restricted groups as defined by Indian government regulations) in their final grades.
Likewise, the MBA program in Construction Management is now accepting applications.
The two-year degree programs are only available in English through the School of Engineering and Technology at IGNOU. Applicants must pay a price of Rs. 15,500 for each semester, except semester 3, when there are eight credit projects and a fee of Rs. 17,500. Interested students can register at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, the official admissions portal.
