ICAI released tentative date for CA Foundation and Inter result

ICAI has released a tentative date, for the CA foundation and Inter result to be declared on October 30, 2024. Candidates can download their results through the official website of ICAI at icai.org., once released.

Steps to download the ICAI CA Foundation result, once released 

Step 1: Go to the official website of ICI at icaiexam.icai.org.
Step 2: Locate the highlighted link of CA Foundation, Intermediate result on the homepage 
Step 3: Enter your login credentials 
Step 4: Your result will be displayed on your screen 
Step 5: Save the result for future reference 

According to the official notice “The results of the Chartered Accountants Intermediate and Foundation Examinations held in September 2024 are likely to be declared on Wednesday, the 30th October 2024 and the same can be accessed by candidates on the website icai.nic.in”

The foundation examination was held on September 13, 15, 18, and 20. The Intermediate exams were held from September 12 to 23. The duration of the foundation exam for Paper I and II was three hours, which took place from 2 to 5 p.m., whereas for papers III and IV was for last two hours and took place from 2 to 4 p.m.

The CA Foundation exam consists of four question papers. Accounting principles and practice are covered in Paper 1, while business legislation, correspondence, and reporting are covered in Paper 2. There is subjectivity involved in these two papers. Paper 4 includes business economics and business and commercial expertise, while Paper 3 covers business mathematics, statistics, and logical reasoning. The CA Foundation Papers 3 and 4 was held in an objective manner. There are 400 total points available, with 100 marks assigned to each paper.

The ICAI CA final exam is postponed due to Diwali festival celebrated across India. According to the revised notice the final course examination for Group 1 shall be held on November 3, 5 and 7 respectively whereas Group II will be conducted on November 9, 11 and 13, 2024.
