ICAI has released the CA Inter and Foundation result

ICAI has released the result, for the CA foundation and Inter result today, October 30, 2024. Candidates can download their results through the official website of ICAI at icai.org.

Steps to download the ICAI CA Foundation result

Step 1: Go to the official website of ICI at icaiexam.icai.org.
Step 2: Locate the highlighted link of CA Foundation, Intermediate result on the homepage 
Step 3: Enter your login credentials 
Step 4: Your result will be displayed on your screen 
Step 5: Save the result for future reference 

Candidates will be deemed eligible for the CA Foundation exam if they receive 40 points in each subject and 50% overall. Additionally, applicants who receive more than 70% of the possible points in the CA foundation September test will be eligible to receive the qualifying status of "pass with distinction" from ICAI.

The foundation examination was held on September 13, 15, 18, and 20. The Intermediate exams were held from September 12 to 23. The duration of the foundation exam for Paper I and II was three hours, which took place from 2 to 5 p.m., whereas for papers III and IV was for last two hours and took place from 2 to 4 p.m.

The CA Foundation exam consists of four question papers. Accounting principles and practice are covered in Paper 1, while business legislation, correspondence, and reporting are covered in Paper 2. There is subjectivity involved in these two papers. Paper 4 includes business economics and business and commercial expertise, while Paper 3 covers business mathematics, statistics, and logical reasoning. The CA Foundation Papers 3 and 4 was held in an objective manner. There are 400 total points available, with 100 marks assigned to each paper.
