HTET examination dates declared

The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has declared the dates of the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2024. As per the schedule the test will be held on December 7 and 8, 2024 at multiple exam centers located throughout the state.

The registration process for HTET2024 will start soon, candidates will be able to register themselves when the process begins on the official website of the board at bseh.org.in During the least academic session , around 2,29,223 applicants appear for the exam at 408 exam centers across the state. Around 47,700 candidates appeared for level 1, 1,11,212 for level 2 and 70,311 for level 3.

The HTET level 3 exam is for Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), which will take place on December 7, 2024 from 3pm to 5:30 pm. The level 2 exam will be conducted on December 8, 2024 from 10 am to 12:30 pm, candidates qualifying for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) positions. The level 1 exam will be conducted for the Primary Teacher (PRT) position from 3 pm to 5:30 pm. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and 30 minutes for each level.

The exam will be conducted for different levels, evaluating applicants for reaching roles at different stages of school education. The chairman of HBSE, Dr VP Yadav highlighted the robust security measures to be put in place for a fair and transparent examination process. He also stated "The Board will adopt the formula of QR codes, alphanumeric identification, and other security features on the question papers to prevent malpractice". Additionally, high quality security cameras and jammers will be installed at the exam centre to ensure the integrity of the exams.
