The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has announced the HPBOSE HPTET June 2024 result. Candidates who participated in the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test can view their result on the official website of HPBOSE at hpbose.org

How to check the HPTET result

Step 1: Go to the official website of HPBOSE at hpbose.org

Step 2: Locate and click the ‘HPTET Result Link’ on the homepage

Step 3: Enter your login credentials

Step 4: Your result will be displayed on the screen

Step 5: Save and take print out of your result for future reference

The HPTET exam was organised on June 22, 23, July 2 and 13, 2024 at multiple exam centres across the state. The exam was held in two shifts, with first shift from 10 to 12:30 pm and second from 2 pm to 4: 30 pm.

Around 41,675 applicants registered for the exam, out of which only 37,826 appeared and 3,849 were absent. Among the candidates who appeared 4,882 were passed and the rest 32,994 didn’t qualified. The answer key was prepared after hearing the objections raised by the candidates with respect to the answers recorded in the earlier provisional answer key.

This examination is held to evaluate the quality of teaching aspirants for positions to teach at the elementary level (Classes 1 to 5). This exam will measure the aspirants understanding of subject knowledge and their teaching abilities. The HPTET examination has eligibility criteria for every category, for general category, candidates need to score at least 60 percent in the exam and for OBC/SC/ST/PH category, candidates need to score minimum 55 percent in the exam.
