Goa Board Reschedules Class 12 Examinations

The Class 12 test has been postponed by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) in order to prevent conflict with the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2025. However, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet announced an official date for the administration of JEE Main. The Goa Board test 2025 was originally set for February 1, however it has already been moved to February 10.

The move was made with the benefit of students in mind who might not have had enough time to prepare if JEE Main was to be held during the final week of January. "The board has given considerable thought to these issues, realizing that JEE Main 2025 is anticipated to wrap up by the end of January, which means students won't have enough time to get ready for their board exams. As a result of the date change, JEE candidates would have more time to concentrate on their entrance and board exams. The board has also included a revised tentative schedule for the Class 12 general and vocational streams, which students can print off from the official website. Every day at 9.30 am is when the exam will start. At a later time, each center's precise sub-center and locations for the exam will be disclosed.

The practical examination for students in the general stream will be held on January 8, and the audit for students in the vocational stream will also occur on the aforementioned dates.
