IIT Roorkee has activated the link for Graduation Aptitude Test Engineering (GATE) 2025 mock test. Candidates can access the mock test by visiting the official website at gate2025.iir.ac.in.
According to the official notice regarding the mock test states “Click on the name of the test paper or its code to open the mock test link in a new tab or window. The Mock Test links are provided to help GATE 2025 candidates familiarise themselves with the look and feel of the GATE 2025 computer-based test.”
Step 1: Visit the official website at gate2025.iir.ac.in
Step 2: Locate the link ‘GATE Mock Test’ on the homepage
Step 3: Click on the name of the test link
Step 4: A fresh page will be opened
Step 5: Enter require details and submit
Step 6: The mock test shall be displayed on your screen
Step 7: Complete the test and submit, once done
Step 8: Save the result for future reference
The test is scheduled to held in two sessions on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025. Th exam will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT), GATE 2025 will comprise 30 test papers, all in English language and entirely objective. Candidates are allowed to participate in one of the two papers only according to the paper combinations displayed on the GATE official website.
The application fee varies according to the categories, for Female/SC/ST/PwD candidates for regular period Rs 900 and for extended period Rs 1400. For the remaining candidates the application fee is Rs 1800 for regular period and for extended period Rs 2300.
A candidate may submit one application for up to two exam papers. On February 1, 2, 15, and 16, there will be an aptitude test. There will be two shifts for the exam per day.
