Federal Bank Offers Scholarships to Students from Six Indian States

The purpose of this scholarship program is to assist students seeking higher education in a variety of professions.

The Federal Bank Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarships for the 2024–2025 school year are already accepting applications, according to Federal Bank. The Federal Bank's Corporate Social Responsibility website, federalbank.co.in/corporate-social-responsibility, has information on applications, eligibility, and the shortlisting process. Applications must be submitted online by December 18, 2024.

The purpose of this scholarship program is to assist students seeking higher education in a variety of professions. It was established in honor of its founder, the late KP Hormis.

Students enrolled in the first year of programs such as MBBS, BE/BTech, BSc Nursing, MBA (full-time), BSc Agriculture, and BSc (Hons) Co-operation and Banking are eligible for the scholarships. Students from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Gujarat, and Karnataka may apply.

Candidates must have been admitted to government, aided, government-approved self-financing, or autonomous colleges on the basis of merit. Additionally, pupils with speech, vision, or hearing impairments as well as dependant wards of slain military people are urged to apply.

Students who qualify may apply via the Hormis Memorial Foundation Scholarship Portal of the Federal Bank. A variety of documents, including as mark sheets, family income certificates, admission letters, and course cost schedules, must be submitted with the application.

Benefits of scholarships include full reimbursement of tuition and other educational costs, up to a yearly cap of Rs one lakh. Students can also get reimbursement for one computer, laptop, or tablet while they are enrolled in classes.

The selection of candidates will be determined by their income and qualifying exam scores. Candidates that make the short list will be contacted for an interview to confirm their documents. On the Bank's website, the final list of qualified applicants will be posted.
