Extended Deadline for JNVST 2024 Application Closes on October 7

On navodaya.gov.in, the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) official website, application forms can be submitted.

Today, October 7, marks the closing of the re-extended application session for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST 2024) for admission to Class 6. On navodaya.gov.in, the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) official website, application forms can be submitted.

There have been two extensions to the application deadline. The application deadline for JNVST Class 6 2024 was initially set for September 16, but it was then extended to September 23 and then to October 7.

A certificate with the candidate's information validated by the headmaster of the student's present school (the one where they attended until Class 5). Applicants for JNVST 2024 for Class 6 admission must have been born on or before July 31, 2015, and on or after May 1, 2013.

There will be two phases for JNVST 2024: January 18, 2025, and April 12, 2025.

The January 18 exam will be held in these regions- Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh (except Dibang Valley and Tawang districts), Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh (except Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul & Spiti and Shimla districts), Jammu & Kashmir (only for Jammu-I, Jammu-II and Samba), Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal (except Darjeeling), Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Delhi, Lakshadweep, Pudducherry.

The following locations will host the test on April 12: Jammu and Kashmir (except Jammu-I, Jammu-II & Samba), Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Dibang Valley and Tawang districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmour, Kullu, Lahaul & Spiti and Shimla districts of Himachal Pradesh, Darjeeling district of West Bengal, Leh & Kargil districts of Ladakh.

Applicants must be born between May 1, 2013, and July 31, 2015.

Candidate's photo, signature, Aadhaar data, residency certificate, and a certificate validated by the headmaster.

Phase 1 is on January 18, 2025, and Phase 2 is on April 12, 2025.
