The University of Delhi has released the third cut-off for Non-Collegiate Women’s education (NCWEB) on September 6,2024. The courses include BA, BCom programme for the session 2024-2025. The procedure for admission will be commenced on September 7,2024 and concluded on September 8,2024 at respective teaching centres. The cut-off is released based on the categories, including General, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward class (OBS)

Registration begins: September 7,2024

Registration ends: September 8,2024

Last Day of fee payment: September 8,2024

Following are the highest and lowest cut-offs for different colleges

BCom Programme

Miranda House: 82 per cent

Hansraj :84 per cent

BA Programme

Miranda House: 88- 85 percent for different course

Hansraj: Closed

There will be around 5 cut-off rounds and a special drive in case needed. The fourth cut-off admission list will be released soon, if needed.

For regular colleges, the procedure for round-1 has concluded . As per the record, there are approx. 71,600 undergraduate seats across the DU colleges. The seat allocation is higher in the first round, as compared to the total seats.

The selection process of Delhi University for regular courses is divided into three phases. The phase 1 was about applying to the DU college by registering at CSAS Portal, the next phase was about filling the preference list of colleges and lastly the third phase is the allocation-cum-admission process.

However, Under NCWEB the candidates are allotted seats based on the percentage achieved in standard 12th. Only female candidates can take admission under NCWEB, no male candidate is allowed to apply for the same.

Under the amendment Delhi University Act 1943, Women students were enabled to give examinations with special coaching but without attending regular classes. This gave shape to the Non­-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB).
