The dates for the 2024 Police Constable Recruitment re-exam have been released by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB). It is advised that candidates who are excitedly anticipating the updated date of the UP Police Re-Exam 2024 study well beforehand.
The state-wide re-examination for the UP Police Bharti 2024 is scheduled for August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31. Every day, there will be two shifts for the exam, with an estimated 5 lakh people showing up for each session.
As mentioned in the announcement, the dates have been shifted to accommodate the Janmashtami celebration.
A paper leak caused the UP Police constable exam 2024 to be cancelled
Paper leaks forced the cancellation of the UP Police 2024 exam, which was originally scheduled for February 17 and 18. To ensure openness and integrity in the examination process, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered the postponement of the Police Bharti 2024 test within a six-month period. He made it clear that the integrity of the exams will not be compromised.
On February 17 and 18, almost 48 lakh candidates about 16 lakh of them women took part in the recruitment exam. In total 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh, 2,835 locations offered the exam.
Asiatics to receive bus service
The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation is offering complimentary bus services to candidates taking the forthcoming exam. Candidates must download two additional copies of their admission card in order to use this service. When they travel to the district of their exam centre by bus, they have to give the bus conductor one copy, and when they return from the exam, they have to give the conductor another copy.
The goal of the recruitment campaign is to fill 60,244 open Constable positions in the Civil Police. The following is how the open positions are divided: The unreserved category has 24,102 openings reserved, followed by the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), the Scheduled Castes (SC), the Other Backward Class (OBC), and the Scheduled Tribes (ST) with 6,024 and 16,264 jobs, respectively.
A thorough exam with 150 multiple-choice questions split into four sections and 300 possible points is part of the selection process.
