CUET UG 2024, exam postponed for Silchar Centre

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2024 for the Silchar, Assam centre has been rescheduled from May 24 to May 29, 2024, due to concerns from candidates about reaching the exam centre on time.

The exam conducting body, National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the postponement of CUET UG 2024 for candidates in Silchar. Initially set for May 24, the exam will now occur on May 29 according to the updated schedule. Candidates will soon be able to download their CUET UG 2024 admit cards from the official website, exams.nta.ac.uk/CUET-UG/. Applicants should monitor this site for further updates and information.

Following requests from candidates and support from the student community, it was decided to reschedule the exam to May 29 to accommodate those unable to reach their designated centres on the original date.

 

Notification Details 

The official notification also mentions that candidates scheduled for the Bengali (104) and Environmental Studies (307) tests in Computer-based Test (CBT) mode have been reassigned to centres outside Silchar due to logistical issues. Additionally, the exam format has changed from a Computer-based Test (CBT) to a pen-and-paper format.

The NTA stated, “All affected candidates are encouraged to take this opportunity to ensure they can attend their exams. For more information about CUET (UG) – 2024, candidates can contact 011 - 40759000 / 011 - 69227700 or email cuet-ug@nta.ac.in."
