CTET correction window opened till October 25

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the modification window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) till October 25, 2024.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the modification window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) till October 25, 2024. Candidates who wish to rectify their errors can do the same untill the correction window is opened.

How to rectify the details 

Step 1: Visit the official website at ctet.nic.in

Step 2: Locate the correction window link on the homepage 

Step 3: Enter your login credentials

Step 4: Review and save the form 

Step 5: Download and Take a print out of the application form for future reference

There will be 2 papers held for CTET with, Paper 1 for candidates to teach at primary level whereas paper 2 for candidates to teach at upper primary levels. The examination will be an objective type with Multiple Choice Questions, carrying one mark each for every question and no negative marking shall be there for incorrect answers.

The CTET certificate is mandatory for schools that come under the Central Government, including those managed by Union Territories like Delhi, Chandigarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The fee structure varies for every category, for general/OBC (for one paper) will be Rs 1,000 and for both papers it will be Rs 1,200 whereas for SC/ST/Differently Abled (for one paper) will be Rs 500 and for both the papers will be Rs 600.

According to the official circular "As per the information received from various candidates, several competitive examinations are scheduled to take place in some states and union territories on December 15, 2024 (Sunday). Therefore, in the interest of candidates, it has been decided to conduct the CTET examination on December 14, 2024 (Saturday). If the number of candidates in any city exceeds capacity, the exam may also be held on December 15, 2024 (Sunday)."
