CSIR-UGC NET 2024: Registration extended till May 29, 2024
The last date for the registration for CSIR – UGC net examination has been extended on the official website. Applicants can check for more updates and information.
National Testing Agency ( NTA) extended the deadline of registration process for the students who want to apply for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR-UGC ) NET exams 2024. New deadline for applicatiion is now 27 May 2024. Interested students can visit the official website for filing there application.
The exams are scheduled for 26, 27, and 28 June, 2024, both in English and Hindi medium. Exam will be computer-based with multiple- choice questions (MCQ) and time duration will be 3 hours.
Five topics will be covered which includes Chemical Sciences; Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences; Life Sciences; Mathematical Sciences; and Physical Sciences. The application fees will be INR 1150 for the general, Rs 600 for OBC / NCL category and for the SC/ST and third gender category students it will be Rs 325. The candidates can submit the fee online through debit/credit or UPI payment.
CSIR – UGC : HOW TO APPLY
Step 1: Visit the official website of the exam – csirnet.nta.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the link available for filling out the application form
Step 3: Click on the ‘New Registration’ button
Step 4: Download the CSIR NET information brochure and read the instructions on the page carefully
Step5: Click on the checkbox at the bottom of the page and select on the ‘Click Here to Proceed’ button. On clicking the button, the CSIR NET Registration Form will open on the screen.
Step 6: Fill in all the given details asked in the registration form.
The CSIR-UGC NET exam, conducted by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), is a national-level examination in India. It determines eligibility for lectureship and for awarding Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) to Indian nationals.
