The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 is scheduled to take place in December 2024, according to a statement released by the Consortium of National Law Universities. Soon, the registration form will be accessible at consortiumofnlus.ac.in, the official website.

The official schedule states that the CLAT 2025 online application procedure will open on July 15 and close on October 15. On December 1, from 2 to 4 pm (or, for PwD applicants, from 2 to 4:40 pm), the exam will take place.

CLAT 2025 eligibility criteria

For the undergraduate programme (five-year integrated law degree) are:

- It is necessary for candidates to have passed the Class 12 or comparable test with:


- 45% points or the corresponding grade; for candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD), -40% points or the corresponding grade.


- Applicants may also appear if they plan to take the qualifying exam in March or April of 2025.

- Regarding the postgraduate course of study (a one-year LLM degree):

-Applicants need to pass an equivalent exam or hold an LLB degree.

- 40% of the possible points for candidates from Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) - 45% of the possible points or its equal grade.

- Those who plan to take the qualifying exam in April or May of 2025 may also apply.
