The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the practical examinations, projects, internal assessments for the Board classes 10 and 12 in winter-bound schools. It will be completed between November 5 and December 5.
As per the notification released on the official website, the board stated through the previous bylaws mentioned that the practical tests for 2025 board exams will begin from January 1 onwards, however the winter bound schools are expected to remain closed in that duration. Therefore, the board has issued a set of guidelines for winter-bound
The practical examinations, projects and internal assessments for this session, 2024-24 are planned from January 1 ,2025. It is for all affiliated schools in India and abroad alike. The same can’t be followed by winter bound schools.
CBSE has directed all winter-bound schools to make sure the marks are in respect of all practical Examinations, projects, Internal assessments will be uploaded simultaneously from the date of beginning to the end date of practical examination.
The uploading of marks must be completed by the last date of practical examinations. No extension of the dates shall be considered by the Board in case of a delay.
And for the theory examinations , CBSE will commence with them from Classes 10 and class 12 on February 15,2024 . However, the completed schedule is yet to be out. Over 44 lakh students will appear for class 10 and 12 board examinations, they will be held at 8,000 schools in India and 26 countries abroad. In the recent update, CBSE has asked schools to install CCTV cameras in the examination rooms for ensuring transparency and authenticity during the exam.
The registration for the LOC will conclude soon for late fee as well. For winter-bound schools the practical are scheduled a month prior due to the circumstances.
Between November 5 and December 5, 2024.
