CBSE issued schedule for the Tier 2 recruitment examination.

The Central Board of Second Education (CBSE) issued the schedule for the Tier 2 recruitment examination, which is scheduled to take place on November 10, 2024. The exam is conducted to fill the vacancies for Account Officer, Assistant Secretary (Academics/Training), Assistant Secretary (Skill Education) and Assistant Secretary (Administration).

The official circular states to all the candidates that the exam will take place in Delhi and candidates who appeared for Tier 1 examination will receive reimbursement for to and fro Sleeper Class (Non-AC) train fare.

Applicants who cleared the Tier 1 exam which was held on August 3, 10 and 11 shall be qualified to participate in the Tier 2 exam. The examination for the Assistant Secretary (Adminstration) will run from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm and the rest of the examinations will take place from 9 am to 12 noon.

The question paper will be bilingual both in Hindi or English and candidates will be able to write answers in either of the languages.

The CBSE notice states “Candidates who took the Tier 1 exam in locations outside Delhi claiming the train fare will have to submit a copy of their to and fro journey train tickets and a copy of the cancelled cheque of their bank account during the Tier - 2 examination. The amount due to the candidates will be transferred in their bank account.”
