CBSE 2025 Exams: CCTV Installation made compulsory

Today, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has instructed schools to make sure that cameras are installed in every examination hall.
The notification stated that the board exams for Classes 10 and 12 will only be held in a room with a CCTV system. It was addressed to the principals and heads of institutions of all connected schools. It further said that a school will not be included in the pupil's examination venue if it lacks fixed cameras. The policy will be put into effect for the 2025 examination.
According to the CBSE, 44 lakh pupils are expected to sit for the Class 10 and 12 exams this year. The Board has created a CCTV policy and is requesting that educational institutions install high-resolution cameras where student behavior and exam materials are clearly visible in order to ensure that exams are conducted fairly and smoothly on such a wide scale.

It is recommended that schools use a variety of platforms to disseminate information, including notice boards, handbooks, and orientation seminars. In order to find areas for improvement and make the required modifications, they have also been instructed to gather the necessary input from faculty, staff, and exam officials. Every testing center will assign one person to oversee ten rooms, or 240 students, in order to ensure that the exams are administered fairly.
CBSE exams will only be conducted in rooms equipped with CCTV systems.
