BPSC 70th CCE examination date out

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the 70th Integrated Combined Competitive Preliminary examination date. The candidates who haven’t registered till yet, can do the same by visiting the official website at bpsc.bih.nic.in or onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in till November 4, 2024.

How to register for CCE examination

Step 1: Go to the official website https://www.bpsc.bih.nic.in/  

Step 2:  On the homepage itself, the candidate shall find 70th preliminary examination registration link

Step 3: Click the link

Step 4: Fill the form and upload the relevant documents

Step 5: Review and submit the form

Step 6: Save the form for future reference

According to the official notice, “The tentative date of Integrated 70th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination is December 13, 2024. The necessary information published on the Commission's website  https://www.bpsc.bih.nic.in/   on date November 2, 2024 regarding the conduct of the said examination should be considered modified to this extent.”

Earlier the exam date was scheduled for November 17 which later got postponed postponement due to unavoidable reasons, requiring additional exam centres for large number of candidates.

Approximate 7 to 8 lakh people will appear for the written examination. This recruitment drives aims to fill 1,957 vacancies for various departments of Bihar Government and there has been increase in number of vacancies, as stated earlier.

The application fee varies category wise, for general category it is Rs 600 and for SC, ST candidates residing in Bihar, female candidates permanently residing in Bihar and disable candidates will have to pay Rs 150.

The Bihar Public Service Commission is a government body, it is under the state of Bihar, India. It was established by the Constitution of India, to recruit candidates for various state government jobs in Bihar through competitive examinations.
