BML Munjal University organizes its 9th Convocation

The BML Munjal University (BMU) organized its convocation ceremony. It was the 9th Convocation; the university achieved a milestone of over five hundred students graduating. The function showed the university's goal towards academic excellence and industry -readiness. Where the school of management achieved 95.80 per cent placement rate, the school of engineering and technology achieved 78.23 per cent and School of law at 73.34 percent.

While addressing the crowd, Vice Chancellor Prof Shyam Menon of BML Munjal University, laid importance on the university's mission, he said "BMU prides itself to be an aspirational university. Our mission is saddled with the aspirations of India’s youth, not merely to be successful professionally and personally, but also to grow into being effective citizens of a secular democratic nation... It is our constant endeavour to mould our students to be competent professionals and, at the same time, compassionate human beings, ethical and responsible leaders, and catalysts for social transformation"

The event was honoured by the presence of Justice S.Murlidhar, the former Chief Justice of the high court of Orissa. He gave insights and aspired the students with his words of wisdom.
Through his interesting and fruitful anecdotes, he eloquently underscored the values of “justice, equality, and liberty which form the soul of our Constitution.”

As the university continues to mark new territories in the field of education. The convocation represents the university's role in shaping the leaders of next generation. With innovative academic programmes, collaboration and light on overall development, the university is at the forefront , ensuring its graduate are well-equipped with the needs and opportunities of coming times.
