The NITI Aayog CEO BVR Subrahmanyam stated that Bihar is showing a significant progress in fundamental areas like education and health. It is expected, the state will catch up to the rest of the country within next few years.

A press conference organized in Gaya, where a national conference on data-driven governance is set to begin on Tuesday, he mentioned about the several aspirational blocks and as well as districts in Bihar are on track to become inspirational soon.

"Bihar will catch up with the rest of the country in a couple of years. The state is performing well in terms of basic indicators like education and health. Several aspirational blocks and districts will move on to become inspirational blocks and districts very shortly due to improved governance and service delivery," Subrahmanyam was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

In addition, he mentioned that Bihar is among the top state in the country to showcase an unprecedented level of an AI-driven decision support system, created to assist policymakers, mid-career officers and individuals undergoing induction training.

It was about the Bihar institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (BIPARD) , it is designed to set in a new era of data-driven governance with the establishment of its state-of-the heart GenNext Lab , it will be inaugurated by Subrahmanyam on Tuesday.

The Bihar Nex-Gen Lab is leveraging home-grown secure Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to teach administrators. The integration will support data handling and as well as analytical tools and insights for better decision-making.

"The lab is expected to enable trainees and officers to harness the power of AI for predictive analysis, policy formulation, and governance optimisation," the official added.

No wonder Bihar will progress over the years drastically, it will be among the top developing state in nation. The GenNext lab will be inaugurated on Tuesday.
