The Isaac Centre for Public Policy (ICPP), to be housed at Ashoka University, will see the introduction of new public policy initiatives. A sophisticated multidisciplinary research project will also be commissioned by the center. It was established with funding from the Ajit Isaac Foundation (AIF), a charitable organization founded by Ajit Isaac, the founder and chairman of Quess Corp. Ltd., and his wife Sarah Isaac, who is also one of Ashoka University's founders and trustees.

There will be significant undergraduate programs in public policy and economics offered by this new center. Additionally, executive-level and graduate programs will be introduced; the latter will include individuals from the public and private sectors. Employment, public finance, and labor, Indian regulators, agriculture and rural economy, and employment and labor are a few of the areas of concentration. Leading players in the public, commercial, and nonprofit sectors will cooperate with the Center to pinpoint knowledge gaps related to the formulation and application of public policy. According to the institute, it would continuously interact with policy by utilizing the experience of eminent specialists both inside and outside the university.

As part of the nation-building process, Ashoka University was founded with the goal of leveraging philanthropic funding to construct an academic institution capable of large-scale social impact creation. Sarah Isaac stated, "We are thrilled to collaborate with this Center to develop ideas and research on public policy to promote inclusive and sustainable growth, as this Center's establishment is in line with this aim.
