AP TET 2024: Check exam day instructions

The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024 will be administered by the School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh starting today, October 3. The test hall passes are now available for download on the official website, aptet.apcfss.in, for candidates.

Here are some key exam-day instructions for candidates:
1. Two shifts will be offered for the Andhra Pradesh TET: First shift from 9:30 am to 12 pm and a second shift from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. One and a half hours before to the start of the exam, candidates will be permitted entry into the testing facilities.
2. The department has set-up help centres in the district education officer's office. For any questions, candidates can get in touch with the service centers.
3. All applicants must bring their invite cards to the testing locations together with a valid, original photo identity card (such as an Aadhaar card, driver's license, voter identity card, etc.).
4. PwD applicants will get an extra fifty minutes to complete their assignments.
5. Calculators and electronic gadgets of any kind, including laptops, tablets, and cell phones, are not permitted in exam rooms.
6.The candidate must bring two passport-sized photos and give them to the departmental official if the photo on their hall pass is missing, obscured, or undersized.

The examination is scheduled for October 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21. In order to provide candidates more time to study for the test, the original August 5–20 timetable was rescheduled to October 3–21. In order to pass the exam, candidates in the open category must receive at least 60% of the possible points. Candidates in the BC category have a 50% success rate, whereas candidates in the SC, ST, PH, and ex-servicemen categories have a 40% pass rate.
