This year, more than 15 lakh applicants took the CUET UG 2024 exam. While the CUET UG 2024 was administered in a hybrid format (both computer-based testing and paper and pen) to approximately 13.48 lakh candidates on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, and 24 in 379 cities, including 26 cities outside of India, 1.58 lakh candidates showed up for seven test papers on May 29 and approximately 1,000 students took the CUET UG retest on July 19.
In 2023, the CUET UG provisional answer key was first released on June 29. NTA re-released the CUET UG provisional answer key again on July 3. A total of 333 questions were dropped from this version of the answer key. However, another set of answer keys was released in the second week of July in which 411 questions had been dropped. Last year, CUET UG was held between May 21 and June 17 and the result was announced on July 15.
