Notably, there were two phases of the ADRE grade 3 exam for graduate-level and HSSLC positions. On September 15, a single shift from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm was dedicated to the administration of the HSSLC-level exam for ADRE grade 3. On September 29, two shifts were held for the ADRE grade 3 exam for graduate-level positions: the first shift ran from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the second from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

It should be noted that state officials performed the examinations under rigorous supervision on both days. Throughout the exam on both days, internet access was restricted. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had, in fact, been in constant contact with Guwahati's superintendents of police and district commissioners to discuss how to ensure the exams ran smoothly.

Exam centers were to be personally inspected, and strict security measures were to be enforced surrounding them, according to reports that the Chief Minister gave the DCs instructions on how to put procedures in place for a smooth examination process. Furthermore, as per a report by news agency ANI, the Chief Minister had also demanded increased monitoring on social media to counter any attempts to compromise the integrity of the test. On October 20 and 27, there will be an ADRE grade 4 preliminary exam.
