In a formal announcement, the CBSE noted that phony emails purporting to provide free teacher training in advanced Python and AI (Practical) had been received by certain associated schools. The board made it clear that it has never sent any such emails and that the phony correspondence points to a fake Google Form that requests private information about the recipients, including information about the trustees, city coordinators, and strength of the school, in exchange for a free book on AI and Python.

Schools are advised by CBSE to disregard these communications and refrain from disclosing any personal data. According to the official announcement, phony emails purporting to offer free teacher training in advanced Python and AI (Practicals) have been sent to some CBSE-affiliated schools. These emails direct readers to a Google Form that requests confidential data, including information about trustees, CBSE city coordinators, and school strength, in exchange for a free book on AI and Python.

In order to safeguard people's personal and professional information, CBSE made it clear that they had not sent these emails and advised everyone to ignore and delete them.
