72 punjab primary teacher send to Finland for training

The Punjab Government on September 24, decided the selection of 72 government primary school teachers to the University of Turku in Finland for advanced training.

Candidates who haven't registered for this post can do the same, as the applications are opened starting from September 24. 

The selection committee will consider feedback from current and former students. The education minister Harjot Singh Bains stated that the teachers will be provided with top-tier training, fostering exceptional teaching practices to elevate their knowledge.

The Punjab Education department has implemented a comprehensive leadership development initiative, providing advanced training to 198 administrators in Singapore and 100 headmasters at IIM Ahmedabad.

The Punjab Government in recent times has taken several initiatives to improve and transform the education system. It has built more government schools , improved the quality of schools , focused on mental health and well being of students and teachers alike. 

They focus on educating teachers and upskilling them .And now the Government has taken efforts to send 72 government primary teachers to 3-week training. The Finance Minister stated "Under the fresh allocation, the government has budgeted ₹100 crore for ‘School of Eminence’ in FY 2024-25 for this purpose."

The Finland Education policy provides equal opportunities to all the citizens with high quality of education and training. The policy is built according to the principles of perceptual learning and equitable education.

Education in Finland is universally accessible and free, from pre primary to higher education. With additional equity measures including free transportation for students from remote regions.
