64 students receive Post Graduate Diplomas from IIM Udaipur during convocation

On Saturday, July 20, 2024, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur held the convocation for the Batch of 2022–24 Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration for Working Executives (PGDBAWE) program. At the institute's 300-acre campus in Balicha, Udaipur, the event was held.

The chief guest for the convocation was Priya Agarwal Hebbar, chairperson of Hindustan Zinc Limited and non-executive director of Vedanta Limited. The last speech was given by IIM Udaipur Director Professor Ashok Banerjee. Professor Tushar Agrawal, Chairperson of PGDBAWE and EMBA Programs, Professor Rajesh Nanarpuzha, Dean of Programs, faculty members, staff, and families of graduating students were present at the occasion.

The PGDBAWE program concluded with 64 graduates, with Sanjeev Kumar Baldev Sahai Kapoor taking home the gold medal for academic distinction.

Priya Agarwal Hebbar congratulated the graduates and emphasized the value of resilience and personal development in her speech. "Achievements on your resume or material possessions are not what defines life. Life is not tidy. Have trust in discomfort; you will need to force yourself into uncomfortable situations to progress," the speaker advised.

In his parting words, Professor Ashok Banerjee encouraged graduates to keep studying and take chances. "You have received transformational education from this institution, and I implore you to never stop learning, developing, and striving to be the best version of yourself. He counseled, "Be in the company of people who push you to reach your full potential. He emphasized that adding value is more important for success than merely making money.
